Bostico International is more like a conference interpreting consultancy where we assess your requirement in full and then assign resources to it. We also follow the guidelines set out by the International Association of Conference Interpreters.

All interpreters are highly qualified and hold a masters degree in conference interpreting, AIIC, are certified UN interpreters, are members of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (IOL) or ITI, and/or are members of NRPSI.

Interpreting (oral translation) is, fundamentally, the art of paraphrasing – the interpreter listens to a speaker in one language, grasps the content of what is being said, and then conveys the meaning. However just as you cannot explain to someone a thought if you did not fully understand that thought, neither can you translate or interpret something without mastery of the subject matter being relayed. All our conference interpreters are qualified in the field and all have a wealthy experience, bringing with them years of conference interpreting practice and professional association to bodies such as the AIIC and the Institute of Translating and Interpreting.
